The sculpture reflects Oxfam Novib’s core values: together, we fight for equality. The open hand of the figure stepping onto the stage is an invitation to viewers to join that fight — to step forward and become part of the movement. The design features a woman emerging from the sea, surrounded by the rising and setting sun.
